Abstract
Funds development of the GeoBase Program. A key initial component of GeoBase is the Common Installation Picture (CIP) which provides the foundation upon which subsequent GeoBase spirals will be built. The CIP will be developed for active, Guard, and Reserve garrison and expeditionary installations to provide a single, interactive map of our installations. Warfighters, commanders, planners, and support personnel alike will be afforded unprecedented situational awareness to accomplish their respective missions. The functional mission sectors will be able to exploit GeoBase to achieve their objectives more effectively, their legacy data will be integrated with the CIP. This program is in Budget Activity 7, Operational System Development because this budget activity includes development efforts to upgrade systems that have been fielded or have received approval for full rate production and anticipate production funding in the current or subsequent fiscal year.
