Vanguard Pathfinder - Integrated Electronic Warfare

Abstract

The Department of the Air Force has a need to identify, protect against and counter evolving adversarial electromagnetic threats to enhance aircraft survivability and mission success. This effort identifies and assesses advanced electromagnetic, directed energy and cyber technologies to rapidly recognize threats from electromagnetic sources and protect against emerging threats with offensive and defensive electronic attack techniques. This effort includes algorithm and tool development with modeling, simulation and analysis and hardware-in-the loop testing.
