NLCC Decision Support System
Abstract
This program is NOT a new start. In FY 2024, PE 0301112F, Nuclear Planning & Analysis Network (NPES), Project 674212, NLCC Decision Support Service efforts were transferred to PE 0304100F, Strategic Mission Planning & Execution System (SMPES), Project 674212, NLCC Decision Support Service, aligning legacy PEs under single PE to begin SMPES integration efforts. This budget line funds the National Leadership Command Capability (NLCC) Decision Support Service (DSS). NLCC DSS is a Nuclear Command and Control software application that directly supports decision-making calculus. DSS will provide a common visual display to bolster national-level situational awareness and enhance support to strategic-level decision making. .
