Cyber Systems Modernization
Abstract
Cyber Systems Modernization will focus on development of new approaches and stay technologically current to inform the spiral delivery of data analytics, visualization, dashboards, with an emphasis of delivering capabilities which directly enable mission, threat, and network awareness across the DAF. Development will focus on improvement of visualization dashboards to provide cyber situational awareness (SA) and decision support tools for the PACAF AOR. Development teams will produce AF-specific software modules and/or enhancements to existing suites of cyber C2 software (to include the Joint Cyber Command and Control (JCC2) program of record)- including software to provide cyber C2 to Mission Defense Teams, provide SA capes to CDCCs, provide Cyber SA for weapon systems, and provide SA/C2 capes for the AFIN SOC. This program element may include necessary civilian pay expenses required to manage, execute, and deliver weapon system capability. In FY 2023 0.000M was expended for civilian pay expenses in this program element, and in FY 2024 0.000M is forecasted for civilian pay expenses in this program element. This effort is Budget Activity 7, Operational System Development because efforts are necessary to upgrade current systems. This program is in Budget Activity 7, Operational System Development because this budget activity includes development efforts to upgrade systems that have been fielded or have received approval for full rate production and anticipate production funding in the current or subsequent fiscal year.
