Abstract

Incorporation of new or existing technologies enabled a greater range of robotic manipulation, supported the development of mobile manipulation, and improved manipulator performance. Development of these technologies enabled unmanned systems to conduct highly dexterous tasks that today are accomplished manually, but currently place war fighters in extremely vulnerable and dangerous situations.
