Non-Lethal Ammunition Obsolescence
Abstract
Due to advancement in technology, electronic components of fuzed items are rapidly becoming obsolete. Obsolescence slows or even stops production and delays delivery of systems to inventory which impacts warfighter readiness. This effort will fund the replacement of obsolete chips on the BA39, XM1112 Tactical Non Lethal Munition 40MM projectile. Qualification testing will also be required to ensure that the functionality of the round is unchanged.
