Total Ammunition Logistics Knowledge (TALK)
Abstract
This effort will develop state of the art embedded micro sensors and Automated Identification Technologies that provide the capability for ammunition to communicate key characteristics, or information about itself to various interrogators throughout the logistics life-cycle from the ammunition load plant to the weapon in the field to improve ammunition management, reliability, and performance.
