Local Area Atmospheric Prediction for Geospatial Applications (formerly Atmospheric Prediction for Local Areas)
Abstract
This effort designs and evaluates software models and sensors to improve local characterization and prediction of atmospheric conditions in urban and complex terrain by directly integrating boundary layer meteorological (MET) measurements into high resolution models and decision aids and verifies these improvements with field measurements.
