Lighter Weight Armor Solutions
Abstract
This effort explored new "out-of-the-box" and "out-of-the-mainstream" armor solutions. The goal was to design, develop and build a concept vehicle within twelve months to meet four overarching objectives (payload, performance, protection and price) while emphasizing occupant-centric survivability.
