Data Fusion

Abstract

E-2D Data Fusion provides a fusion engine to blend off-board tactical data (e.g. Electronic Surveillance and Satellite Receiver System (SRS) data) with already blended radar, Identify Friend or Foe (IFF) and Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) track-files, greatly enhancing Situational Awareness and tactical decision making. Successful E-2D NIFC-CA engagements depend on a clear/unambiguous tactical picture and the shortest possible decision timeline.
