Solutions to Sustain Warfighter Performance in Extreme Environments
Abstract
Protect and prevent degradation of Soldier health, readiness and performance from environmental stressors (heat, cold, altitude, chemical toxicants) while conducting prolonged operations in the MDO. Develop algorithms and physiological models to inform unit leaders and Soldiers and provide actionable information and interventions to manage metabolic needs, maintain performance, and avoid non-battle injuries while operating in extreme environments.
