T-38A/B Low-Cost Avionics Modification Program (LAMP)
Abstract
Beginning in FY 2023, LAMP is a subset and continuation of work started under Project 676037, T-38 Avionics Component Integration (AvCI). LAMP is not a New Start. LAMP will replace the current Attitude Director Indicator (ADI) and Horizontal Situation Indicator (HSI), which have low Mean Times Between Failure (MTBF). Ongoing LAMP activity may either refurbish or replace other navigation components, to include the Attitude Gyro Control Assembly, Rate Switching Gyro, Rate Gyro Transmitter, Servo-Amplifier, and Flight Director Computer.
