Electro-Optic Space Domain Awareness and Satellite Security

Abstract

Develop advanced, long-range, electro-optical technologies that enable ground-based optical Space Domain Awareness (SDA) and quantum-based optical communications. Develop and use technologies to quantitatively assess the vulnerability of blue satellite systems and components to lasers and other-directed energy sources. Operate the Starfire Optical Range (SOR) to conduct research meeting internal and customer requirements.
