Modeling and Simulation of Energetics and Munitions

Abstract

This effort develops, codes, and subsequently employs advanced models to predict multiscale response of energetic materials for both propellant and explosive purposes. Develops new simulation methods for understanding and design of advanced concepts and energetic formulations to rapidly iterate and optimize towards increased range and enhanced lethality.
