Ballast Water Management

Abstract

The National Invasive Species Act (NISA) requires the Secretary of Defense to implement a ballast water management program to minimize the risk of introduction of unwanted species and pathogens from releases of ballast water. FY19 to support Ballast Water Management tasking related to procurement and testing of Navy approved Ballast Water Treatment System (BWTS).
