Active Protection System, Hard-Kill (Navy/USMC)

Abstract

This project evaluates a vehicle mounted system that autonomously detects, tracks, and engages threats with both Hard and Soft Kill countermeasures. This technology increases combat capabilities of light armored vehicles against rocket propelled grenades and anti-tank missiles. If successful, this technology will transition to Marine Corps Program Executive Office for Land Systems for follow-on procurement and fielding on the Amphibious Combat Vehicle through an Engineering Change Proposal.
