Abstract
Develop a prototype transportable nuclear microreactor to be demonstrated by FY 2025 that can generate 1-5 MW of electric power, is transportable in standard shipping containers, and meets safety, legal, and regulatory requirements to minimize risk of radiation exposure, nuclear proliferation, and environmental impact. In addition, testing, modeling, and analysis will be performed to prepare for future service transition decisions.
