Soldier Sensory Performance

Abstract

Conduct Soldier-oriented research to understand the attentional and cognitive challenges of interpreting unaided and aided tactile signals, visual imagery, and auditory events in complex, dynamic battlefield environments. Results are used for enhancing sensory performance by providing the materiel development community with the knowledge necessary to effectively design systems that maximize mission effectiveness and survivability of the dismounted Soldier.
