Abstract
The Defense Research and Engineering Network (DREN) provides wide area network (WAN) connectivity among the Department's science and technology (S&T) and test and evaluation (T&E) communities via a research network. The DREN matures and demonstrates new communications technologies of relevance to DoD users, and provides the computer and network security for the HPCMP.
