16) Personnel Decontamination
Abstract
This effort supports the Personnel Contamination Mitigation. Efforts will develop decontaminants for decontamination of unbroken skin with lower lifecycle costs and storage constraints and determination of time, efficacy and logistics burdens to warfighters for mass casualty decontamination. Decrease Warfighter burden in the event of a Chemical Warfare Agent (CWA) exposure by identifying science and technology gaps in the mass personnel decontamination process as well as possible substitutions for current approved personnel decontamination formulations.
