Micro/Small Scale Unmanned Aerial Systems

Abstract

Enables micro/small Future Unmanned Aircraft System (FUAS) concepts for experimental prototypes to discover behaviors that can be scaled up to group 3 platforms to support advanced manned and unmanned air and ground teaming, and the maturation of basic research in the area of intelligent unmanned air systems. This includes controls that can adapt to damage or environmental conditions, models to perform aggressive maneuver in complex environments, reduction of noise signature, and adaptive structures.
