Next Generation Information Awareness

Abstract

This autonomy project developed and integrated standoff biometrics, technical sensors, advanced data architecture, and analytics to enable identification in near-peer, sensitive, less permissive environments. The prototype system consists of electro-optical and electro-magnetic analytic sensors, remote and autonomous sensor emplacement and control systems, automated data analytics platform, and a communications architecture. Using FY 2019 funding, the project completed the system development, sensor integration, and final demonstration. The prototype systems transitioned to a U.S. Special Operations Command program of record. Additional details are classified.
