RD: Detection Technologies
Abstract
Project RD conducts RDT&E to detect, locate, identify, track, and interdict nuclear and radiological threats, which include weapons, material, and enablers to their acquisition and development such as nuclear expertise, financing, or unique technologies. Efforts support DoD requirements for combating terrorism, counter/nonproliferation, and homeland defense.
