HBCU/MI Early Career Award for Science and Engineering
Abstract
The HBCU/MI Early Career Award for Science and Engineering (HBCU/MI ECASE) is modeled from the Presidential Early Career Award for Science and Engineering (PECASE) award, which embodies the high priority placed by the government on maintaining the leadership position of the United States in science by producing outstanding scientists and engineers and nurturing their continued development. The HBCU/MI ECASE awards will specifically seek outstanding U.S. citizen scientists and engineers beginning their careers at HBCU/MIs. Each award will provide significant support for students and internships within DEVCOM ARL or at Army-funded academic laboratories.
