Nanotechnology-Environmental Effects
Abstract
This effort enables the Army's ability to field advanced nano-based technology by appropriate framing of the environmental impacts of nanomaterials. The end result of this research is the development of methods that guide the design of nanomaterials such that adverse effects on human health or the environment are minimized in their designed state and when they enter the environment where they may break down.
