TACLink 16

Abstract

The TACLink 16 program will accelerate fielding of key technologies previously aligned with the F-22 Tactical Mandates program. The program consists of software and hardware development necessary to field basic Link 16 Transmit capability on the F-22. Link 16 Transmit will be accomplished via an Open Mission Systems (OMS) architecture integrated with F-22 legacy avionics. The OMS implementation will provide a pathway to more competitive and open future F-22 modernization. Includes Mission Support of the F-22 Program Office: travel, computer costs, and other miscellaneous contract support.
