U.S. Naval Academy Tracking Transnational Illicit Networks Using New Methods of Analysis & Communication

Abstract

This project was a collaborative research effort involving midshipmen at the United States Naval Academy who identified and analyzed linkages among transnational criminal networks smuggling drugs and other contraband from Latin America or Africa to jihadist terrorists within Europe or the United States.
