RLAC

Abstract

Rapid Large Area Clearance for EOD Missions (RLAC) will develop new tools and equipment for EOD technicians. RLAC will decrease the unexploded ordnance (UxO) clearance timeline for bases and ports by using a distributed networked system of (2) person portable unmanned capabilities, advanced sensors, automated target recognition, directed energy, and standoff technologies. Additionally, cooperative autonomy developed under this program will reduce human cognitive loads and improve human/machine teaming. PRJ 6009-RLAC, is a new start for FY 2024.
