GDF - Medical Materiel/Medical Biological Defense Equipment Development
Abstract
Programmatic transfer in accordance with the 711/737 US Army Medical Research and Development Command transfer to Defense Health Agency in support of Medical Materiel/Medical Biological Defense Equipment Development from Army PE 0603807A. Funding is provided for engineering and manufacturing development of medical devices and blood products in support of enhanced combat casualty care and for the development of candidate medical countermeasures for military relevant infectious disease focusing on prevention and treatment to increase medical readiness. This project provides for the advanced product development and prototyping of Army lifesaving medical field systems.
