Diagnostics and Disease Transmission Control
Abstract
This effort conducts research to investigate the biology of biting insects (including mosquitoes and leishmaniasis-infected sand flies) and other organisms that transmit disease (disease vectors) and their control. This effort also expands medical diagnostic and disease surveillance capabilities in the field. This research will help to direct new interventions into preventing disease transmission.
