Petroleum, Oil, and Lubricant (POL) Products:
Abstract
This project focuses on creating and evaluating innovative petroleum, oil and lubricant (POL) products that reduce logistic burdens, maintenance requirements, and fuel consumption. Products will be developed in areas such as alternative fuels, fuel additives, lubricants, power train fluids, coolants, and petroleum, oil, and lubricant products to support new military technology requirements (i.e. anti-lock brakes, semi-active suspension, etc.). In FY13 and FY14, this effort supports Technology Enabled Capability Demonstration 4a: Sustainability/Logistics - Basing.
