Standard Missile-3 (SM-3) Block IIA Development
Abstract
The SM-3 Block IIA missile will increase the area that can be defended by Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) and increase the probability of kill against a larger threat set. It will leverage enhanced capability provided by Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) sensor upgrades and is required to meet EPAA Phase III.
