Glide Breaker
Abstract
Glide Breaker will develop critical component technologies to support a lightweight vehicle designed for precise engagement of hypersonic threats at very long range. Phase I of the program focuses on a single, critical, long-lead technology with applicability to a variety of interceptor concepts and designs. Phase II will build on the success of Phase I, developing additional component technologies and laying needed groundwork for an integrated demonstration which will showcase the system's ability to defeat adversary hypersonic weapons.
