Soldier Lethality
Abstract
This effort funds manufacturing technology advances needed for more affordable components and subsystems in areas such as aerial delivery of supplies, expeditionary basing, Soldier-borne sensors, clothing, and protective equipment. Work focuses on addressing challenges in areas such as multifunctional fabrics for shelters, uniforms and portage equipment; lightweight materials for body armor; and medical technologies such as biotechnology and vaccine production.
