Abstract

Designs and develops selectable explosive hazard neutralization technologies combined with detection confirmation sensor capabilities to provide a future integrated detection and neutralization capability in support of both manned and unmanned mounted route clearance and conventional mine breaching operations. Products of this effort include sensor components for high reliability confirmation, cueing algorithms that produce repeatable and accurate registration coordinates for neutralization, and trade off analysis of candidate neutralization techniques to achieve a desired neutralization order of magnitude (low or high order detonation).
