Abstract
This effort matures and demonstrates lightweight materials and joining technologies in support of lighter military vehicles which are more fuel-efficient and expeditionary with superior mobility and protection of both vehicles and occupants. Lighter materials/constructions and advances in joining technologies such as multi-material and dissimilar material joining will lead to lightweight military vehicle structures.
