Conducts research for advanced battery materials; fuel cells and reformers for Soldier and vehicle power; electronic materials structures and defects of high-temperature wide-band gap semiconductors for high-power electronic applications; materials for advanced nano and micro devices; cold-atom chip devices for advanced sensors and ultra-stable atomic clocks; and integration of nanoenergetics and Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) for fusing and microrobotic applications.
