AN INVESTIGATION ON THE DYNAMIC PROPERTIES OF PLASTICS AND RUBBER-LIKE MATERIALS

Abstract

Analysis of the results of dynamic tests on a natural rubber of 27 to 30 durometer hardness indicated that the phenomena were essentially viscous and that the rubber displayed only slight hereditary effects. Formulas for the rubber specimens tested and a summary of their physical properties are given in an appendix.
