On the Geometrical Changes That Occur When Wings Are Rotated About Axes That Are Nearly Normal to the Wings

Abstract

Wing rotations cause changes in sweepback, wing-body setting, and dihedral. The geometrical relationships occurring are presented by defining precisely the relevant angles, and then deriving the various formulas relating them.
