Abstract

Research comprised studies of a generalized seld-consistent field method, the Hsub2O molecule theory of molecular Oxygen, scattering of neutrons by Oxygen 16, configuration interaction in HF, theory of the Ssub8 molecule, configuration interaction applied to the H molecule, nuclear electric quadrupole interaction in the KCl molecule, energy bands in Cr, a simple model of ferromagnetism, the equivalence of electrons and holes, theory of ferromagnetism, anti-ferromagnetism, the local field in a crystal lattice, connection between the many-electron interaction and the 1-electron periodic potential problems, a study of 2Z and p in atoms, spherical Bessel functions of half intergal order and imaginary argument, and electric field gradient at nuclei of molecules.
