SURVEY OF THE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM OF THE ARTILLERY SCHOOL, ANTIAIRCRAFT AND GUIDED MISSILES BRANCH, FORT BLISS, TEXAS. REPORT AND RECOMMENDATIONS BY A SPECIAL SURVEY COMMISSION

Abstract

The survey team evaluated: (1) methods of instruction; (2) organization of course content with a view toward possible reduction in the length of courses; and (3) methods used in determining student progress and proficiency. They were also concerned with identifying problems that would necessitate experimental research. Recommendations are made concerning the following: organization and administration; curricula, instruction, and instructional aids; the grading and evaluation system; the student body; and the Officer Candidate School.
