THE DIELECTRIC CONSTANT AND SALT EFFECTS UPON THE ACID HYDROLYSIS OF ETHYL FORMATE

Abstract

The hydrolysis of ethyl formate catalyzed by hydrochloric acid was studied at three temperatures in water-acetone media and in water media containing different concentrations of sodium nitrate.
