HIGH TEMPERATURE THERMAL DIFFUSIVITY FURNACES AND TECHNIQUES FOR MEASUREMENT

Abstract

A low temperature (200 deg - 1400 deg C) and a high temperature (1000 deg - 2000 deg C) thermal diffusivity apparatus is described. In addition to thermal diffusivity, this apparatus will measure Biot's modulus and surface heat transfer coefficient.
