SENSITIVENESS OF SOLID AND LIQUID EXPLOSIVES: PART 3: THE APPLICATION OF THE GAP TEST TO LIQUID EXPLOSIVES

Abstract

A technique for the determination of the sensitiveness to shock of liquid explosives in moderate bulk (on the order of 100 ml) has been developed. This is giving reliable results with explosives which are less sensitive than ethyl nitrate and more sensitive than propyl nitrate.
