Abstract

A consolidation is presented of available information on the topography and climate of Turkey, southern USSR, and the Balkan Peninsula, and the railway and highway transportation in the Balkan Peninsula, southern USSR, Turkey, and the Near East. The investigation is for the purpose of evaluating conditions for the movement of armor north to Russia.
