Tables for Sensitivity Tests Conducted at Two Stimuli

Abstract

Tables are presented to facilitate the computations involved in estimating the average stimulus necessary to affect the objects tested. The procedure for using the tables is illustrated by examples, and the requirement of a normal or near normal distribution of the critical stimuli is discussed. The tables also furnish the necessary statistics for making the usual tests for significance and estimates of confidence intervals and tolerance intervals.
