A STUDY OF DYNAMIC VISUAL ACUITY

Abstract

The visual acuity of 18 subjects deteriorated as the angular velocity of the test object moving in a horizontal plane was increased from 10 deg to 170 deg/sec. The visual acuity was evaluated in terms of static and dynamic visual acuity. Some individuals with approximately the same static acuity differed significantly in their dynamic acuity.
