DYNAMICS OF METEOROLOGICAL FRONTS

Abstract

The dynamical equations of meteorological fronts (AD-15 688) are approximated to obtain equations of motion. Results are obtained by assuming a simple-wave solution. Warm and cold front behavior is discussed in terms of the solution, and sketches are included for the distortion of a warm and cold front system with time.
