Abstract
Progress is discussed on studies involving vinyl polymerization; experimentation with polyurethanes; the correction of predicted values of heat of combustion for presence of nitro group; rheology of nitro polymers; determination of ballistic-properties; and the synthesis of nitro olefins, nitro alcohols, nitrocarboxylic acids, nitro isocyanates, and intermediates.
