Abstract

The research objectives are reexamined with respect to the degree of their attainment. Recommendations for future research are presented with respect to job requirements; methods of fleet training; learning to maintain new equipment; reading circuit diagrams; organization; sea duty prior to class A school; development of selective devices; the importance of an interest in electronics; paper work; the role of logical analysis in trouble shooting; problem-solving research; technological changes; equipment operational characteristics; methodological studies; extension of observations; and performance criteria.(See also AD-15 385)
